# Payouts to your own Stripe account

## What it does

You connect a Stripe account when you set up payouts, in any of the 43 countries where Stripe offers it. Supporters pay into it directly, so you are the merchant.

## How the fee is taken

TKVR's fee comes off each payment as it is made. 0% on your first 10,000 US dollars, then 3% of each payment. Stripe's card processing fee is charged on your own Stripe account, at cost. Read [how membership fees work](https://tkvr.me/guides/membership-fees).
