# How to move your members from Patreon

## What works today

A Patreon import is coming, but it is not built yet. Until then, the move is something you ask your patrons to do: they join your TKVR page themselves, with their own card. Nobody is charged on TKVR without joining.

## Step by step

1. [Start free](https://tkvr.me/login?next=/studio/onboarding).
2. Recreate your tiers with the same names, prices and perks, so patrons know exactly where they fit.
3. Post something on TKVR first, so the page is not empty when they arrive.
4. Tell your patrons where you are going and why, and share the link to your page.
5. Give them a date. Keep both running until then, so nobody pays twice for long.

## Make it easy to switch

One account works on every TKVR page and the card they save once works everywhere. Members can switch tier, update their card and cancel on their own, so they do not need to email you.
