What it does
The owner of a page checks their ID with Stripe Identity. When the check passes, your page shows an ID verified badge.
How it stays honest
Only results from Stripe can set the badge. Nobody can switch it on from the app. If Stripe later rejects the page's Stripe account, the badge comes off.
What it costs
Free for now: your first 3 checks cost nothing. After that a check is 5 euros, shown in your own currency at the day's rate. If Stripe could not process what you sent, as opposed to the check failing, you also get one free retry.
