How to sell an online course to your fans

Build a course from modules and lessons, include it in a tier or sell it once, and drip it out over time. Here is how on TKVR.

Plan it as modules

A course on TKVR is a set of modules, and each module holds lessons. Lessons can have text, images, video, audio and files like PDF, ZIP or EPUB.

Start with the outcome a student wants, then cut the path there into modules a student can finish in one sitting or one week.

Choose who gets in

  • Include it with a tier and above, as a reason to join or upgrade.
  • Sell it for a one-off price to anyone.
  • Do both, so members get it with their tier and everyone else can buy it.
  • Or make it free, to bring people to your page.

Build it

  1. In your studio, open Courses and create one.
  2. Add modules and lessons, with media and files.
  3. Set the price, the tier, or both.
  4. If you want, set a module to open a number of days after a student starts.
  5. Publish. The outline is public, so visitors see what is inside before they pay.

What it costs

Course sales count toward the same allowance as memberships: 0% on your first 10,000 US dollars, then 3%.
